Set in California’s Mojave Desert, the annual Joshua Tree Music Festival is a celebration of music, creativity, community empowerment, and arts education.

For this poster, fused metaphors were explored, ultimately resulting in a combination of the iconic Joshua tree with a silhouette of a singer. In this way, their slogan, “The desert is freedom, music is power, community is crucial”, doesn’t merely come from the music; it also emanates from the desert itself.
